"Tell me where's Cameron?"

Nathalie clapped her hands. The door behind her swung open without warning.

Cameron walked in, slow and steady. Dominick and Ford flanked him like bodyguards, not taking their eyes off him for a second.

Greta's face lit up with wild joy as she ran to him. "Cameron, I finally found you!" She threw herself into his arms, sobbing so hard she could barely breathe. "I regret everything. I regret divorcing you. I never should've left you when you were at your lowest. Since we split, there hasn't been a single day I haven't missed you."

"I've replayed our whole story in my head a thousand times. It finally hit me just how much you cared. I was such an idiot, taking your love for granted. I messed up, Cameron. Can we start over?"

Cameron didn't hug her back. His eyes, soft and full of meaning, were fixed on Nathalie.

He gently pushed Greta away. "Greta, my memory's back."

"What do you remember?" she asked, voice trembling.

"I remember who I really love-and it's not you." As Cameron said it, he turned to Nathalie again. But Nathalie barely spared him a glance, pretending not to notice the way he looked at her.

Panic flickered in Greta's eyes.

She shook her head furiously. "No, Cameron, you love me! Don't you remember? We were childhood sweethearts."

"Stop fooling yourself, Greta," Cameron said quietly. "I remember everything now." Greta staggered back a step, as if the words had pushed her.
