Seeing that Aubrey was unmoved, Mariana finally gave up on her plan to reconcile. Her voice turned sharp.

“Oh?” Aubrey arched a brow lightly. “And who would that be?”

She knew Aurelia and Jax had dissolved their mate bond, but after that, she had no idea where Aurelia and Bailey had gone. With her time consumed entirely by breaking the virus, she had spared no thought for such matters. Only now, with the second stage nearly complete, could she spare a moment to care.
