Hearing Hannah’s words, I felt a pang in my chest. There was something about this that gave me a gut feeling of dread. I didn’t resist this time but let Bailey take me to the hospital.

After a series of tests, it turned out that there was indeed an issue with my breast. It was a bit more serious than before, but fortunately, it was detected early. So, with the right medication and a cheery disposition, I should be fine.

“Thank you, doctor,” I sighed in relief, accepting the prescription from him, ready to get my medication.

As I was about to take the elevator downstairs to the pharmacy, a man wearing a face mask stepped out. His accent didn’t sound local, quite foreign actually. He was asking someone nearby, “Excuse me, do you know if Dr. Karina works in this hospital?”

He sighed and stepped out of the elevator. When he saw me, he asked me the same question.
