The moment Jillian entered the school, she was immediately engulfed by a sea of whispers and rumors about Madelyn’s supposed disfigurement. Concern flooded her, propelling her forward at a near sprint.

Hearing this, Madelyn struggled to contain her laughter. With a playful grin, she reached out and pinched Jillian’s cheek. “Jilly, how can you be so adorable?”
