Chapter 1353 Why Did You Suspect Victor

Everyone knew these two men had privileged backgrounds and their situation would entangle many others. No one dared take chances.

Alex was escorted to another vehicle while Raymond remained securely in the first one.

As the convoy navigated a hillside, a thick fog suddenly enveloped them, extending about three hundred feet ahead and precisely covering the area with the most winding turns. The vehicles cautiously came to a halt.

A gun pressed against Raymond's forehead. "Mr. Montague, I'm guessing your people created this fog," the officer said coldly. "Don't try anything clever. My gun doesn't discriminate." He secured Raymond's handcuffs to the vehicle's rail.

Officers quickly surrounded the car, alert to the unusual fog and prepared to prevent any rescue attempt. The situation demanded their full attention-losing Raymond would be unacceptable.

Just as they reached peak vigilance, the officers began feeling dizzy. The sound of bodies hitting the floor echoed through the vehicle. Raymond glanced outside with casual interest as a power saw roared to life.

Someone cut through the window and severed the handcuffs. John appeared outside, searching the unconscious officers for keys. Finding them, he respectfully unlocked the remaining cuff.

"Are you alright, Mr. Montague?" John asked.
