Chapter 343: Surprise Attack Alpha Theron's POV

The chaos outside was growing louder with each passing second. The warriors are trying their best to defend the Pack and protect us from the invaders, but I had no time to think about that.

My legs carried me swiftly down the dimly lit hallways of the Packhouse. Everyone has left already, I'm the only one who chose to turn around and go back just to fetch the book.

The book. I had to retrieve it. If that book fell into the wrong hands, it would end everything and put Astrid in danger.

No one could know the truth about her being an Almega

I pushed my office open and quickly hurried to the hidden safe where I kept the book hidden. It is tucked inside a concealed drawer beneath my desk. I entered the passcode which only I knew.

My hands trembled slightly as I pulled out the thick book. Its worn cover and dusty pages made it looked unimportant at all.

I clutched it tightly to my chest and turned to leave, my mind racing. I had to get back to Asha who had stayed behind despite the danger.

It's really hard to have two stubborn girls who never listens. Asha and Astrid shared the most similarities, but ironically they don't get along well as they should.

I stopped in my tracks when a massive black wolf blocked my path. Its eyes glowed with a fierce, unrelenting hatred, and its fur bristled as it bared its teeth.

My heart clenched. This was no ordinary rogue.I've never seen a rogue as huge and as powerful as the one in front of me.

He must be the leader of the rogues, the one calling on the shots the whole time. I never thought that we would meet each other like this.
