Killian made his way through the clean, marble-floored corridors. Upon reaching the conference room, he walked right past the oak doors, as they were already pushed open by the guards standing on either side of the doors. Inside the conference room, other than the head of the council, there were seven other alphas sitting inside, including Dominic and Remy. while on the other side, the alphas from the small territories, with no possible significance, were sitting.

As he stepped inside, he could see that Remy’s expression was not looking good. He seemed like he was on the verge of losing control, which was not surprising as he had lost the anchor to his soul. Killian, however, only glanced at the man before walking past the rest of the people and sitting next to Dominic. There was no other choice for the man was in an alliance with him.
