eyes and dared not make contact with him.
Yvonne nodded in a hurry. “Yeah, yeah, we know that you are busy. We shouldn’t be here to bother you, but… The White Group did cross the line this time. We never should have stood up against your Collins from the very first beginning. We are here to apologize to you. I hope that you can forgive us for our wrongdoings and let go.”
Yvonne was always abrasive, but at this moment, she acted like a well-mannered woman with a
good temper.
Claude’s color came and went as he listened. Restraining his feeling of annoyance was the biggest concession he could make. He would never say sorry to Jordy.

Claude thought that he had debased himself coming here. In addition, Yvonne had made an apology on behalf of both of them, which said loud for his sincerity. Claude was convinced that Jordy would never find fault with him and accept his apology willingly.

Claude would rather receive an angry glance or a few sarcastic remarks from Jordy than being ignored. This cold shoulder made Claude feel that he was treated like dirt by Jordy.
Jordy’s apathetic eyes fell on Yvonne. “It was your Whites who called off the partnership. What’s more, we’ve made the termination public. So there is no meaning in restoring our relations.”
Claude’s countenance changed when he heard Jordy’s remarks.
Meaningless? How can it be meaningless? It may be nothing to your Collins. But there will be huge profits for our White Group!
Yvonne smiled awkwardly. “Mr. White didn’t mean it at that time. He was blinded by anger. He still wants to cooperate with you. He did make a mistake and he had realized it. So, could you please give us another chance? Mr. White, you want to work with Mr. Collins, right?”
