“You’re not taking care of it now. It doesn’t mean you won’t get married. Jordy, failing Gloria is the biggest mistake you’ve made in your life. I have done everything within my power and will not urge you two to be together again. I don’t want to lose Gloria because of you.”
Jordy’s pupils contracted, and his face turned sullener.
Gloria was relieved to hear that and curled her lips. “Thank you, Karen.”
Karen’s heart tingled. Gloria thanked her… She talked like this only when she felt relaxed.
