Sophie walked out of Odie's study with a stack of documents, and from the top of the staircase, she spotted Timothy standing awkwardly downstairs. He looked utterly clueless about what he was supposed to do.

Without missing a beat, Sophie took charge. "Timothy, you can start by preparing lunch. But here at Mr. Odie's house, all meals are made from fresh ingredients. So, you'll need to drive to the farmers' market three kilometers away for vegetables, then head to the seafood market 3.8 kilometers away for seafood, and finally, visit the butcher five kilometers away for fresh meat before coming back to cook."

Timothy looked at her, speechless.

"And after lunch, we have half an hour to eat. Post-lunch, you'll wash the dishes, do the household chores, prepare the afternoon tea, and at three, you'll need to go out and shop for dinner ingredients. After dinner, you've got an hour to clean up, ensure each room has hot water, and prepare the warm milk before bed. By the time you're done, it'll be around ten, and you'll need to start prepping for tomorrow's breakfast. The Minton family breakfast has twelve different mini quiches, mostly Western-style, so it's a bit of a hassle. I suggest you hit the sack right at ten."

Timothy's brow furrowed deeply. There were clearly other servants in the Minton household, but Sophie was dumping all this on him alone.
