I always thought adults were just a bit dull, forever spinning tales of their youthful glory days. They often mentioned this enigmatic group called The Silent Shadows, and I imagined they were pretty intimidating. But after meeting Isaac, it turned out The Silent Shadows weren't all they were cracked up to be.

Out of the blue, Alec noticed that a bunch of people around us were giving us the once-over.
