Chapter 217 Did Nothing to Support Brown Group

The bidding session had barely ended when Dad and Mom found out that Flint Group had won the bid.

After all, Eric was my husband, and even though Brown Group didn't win the bid, it was still something to celebrate.

Unfortunately, Eric had to go on a business trip that evening, so he couldn't come home with me. After comforting my parents and easing their disappointment over a phone call, I got into Dad's car after work and headed back to the Brown residence.
