When Xyla led Lana and Josh out of the venue after the crowd, the snow had started falling outside. The entire world was blanketed in white.

As her legs were bare, it felt like knives were carving onto her flesh when the cold breeze blew. In an instant, there were goosebumps on her fair white legs. However, she remained unfazed as she confirmed forward.

Snowflakes fell onto their heads like tender swan feathers, barely melting away.

Josh was the first to stop. He looked at Xyla gently and smiled, asking, “Are you really not coming to supper with us?”

Xyla shook her head and rubbed her hands together. “I’m really not going. I have to return to the office.”

Josh added, “Do you want me to send you ladies back?”
