Chapter 388

Remy's men thought that I was pretentious and conceited. I've heard that remark countless times, so I didn't pay attention to it much.

What I was more concerned about was how to intimidate Remy and his subordinates so he wouldn't cause trouble in the dormitory in the future.

Those men were shameless and unreasonable. It was impossible to defeat them using normal methods, but if I was ruthless enough, I could subdue them forcefully. However, I couldn't win just by fighting with my fists.

My only hope lay in the knife I carried.

If I injured one of them with it, they would know that I would be willing to risk my life in the fight. I anticipated that they would back off then.

If they wanted to attack me, I could use a weapon to retaliate and claim it was self-defense. My family's lawyers would be able to build a defense strategy around that.

So, I wasn't afraid. I wanted to set an example for everyone.

As expected, once Remy heard my name, he strode forward. "It isn't a problem. Still, I think that there is no smoke without fire. Everyone says you're pretentious, and I was curious to see for myself. Turns out, the rumors were true!"

He had a buzzcut and was shirtless, wearing black shorts and dirty slippers.

One thing was obvious, though. He wasn't a good person!

"Aren't you going to stab me? Okay. I'll square off with you today! Go on and injure me. If you don't do that, I'll kill you!" Then, he fearlessly swaggered toward
