Chapter 676

Nicole was caught off guard as she staggered forward and landed in Zachary's arms.

Probably because of the drug, his skin was scorching hot. She was bewildered as she shoved him away with her hands on his chest, struggled, and stammered, "Z-Zach, it's me! Calm down! Don't do anything stupid."

Her voice seemed to snap him out of his senses. He looked down at the woman in his embrace, opened his lips slowly, and whispered, "Nicky... It's you."

She hurriedly nodded in affirmation. His body was so feverish that it was making her uncomfortable. She pressed against his chest and grunted, "Please let go of me. You need to calm down."

He looked at the chattering lips in a daze. They looked so juicy and tempting as they parted. He fancied her for nearly five years, and because of the drug's effect, he almost couldn't hold himself back. He had always been proud of his self-control, but it slowly began to crumble as time passed.

"Zach, you're drugged! All your feelings toward me are due to the drugs. You—" Nicole was so nervous that she began to babble incoherently, but her lips were sealed before she could finish speaking.

"Mmph!" Her eyes widened in shock. His kiss was so ferocious that she almost suffocated.

Zachary was far from gentle this time. Instead, he kissed her forcefully, which carried a strong sense of oppression.

She couldn't breathe because of the kiss, and her eyes were clouded with a layer of mist. Then, just as he indulged in the kiss, she bit his lips mercilessly to snap him out of it.

Zachary gasped and hastily withdrew himself from the kiss the instant he felt the pain. Finally, after what seemed like a decade, a sense of clarity began to appear in his bleary eyes.

Nicole hurriedly shoved him away as she backed away from him. At this moment, she looked a little miserable and disheveled. Her lips were flushed and swollen from the kiss, and her clothes were a little messy because of the struggle earlier.

As he touched his lips, he belatedly realized what kind of beastly thing he had just done, and his face twisted in a painful grimace. He clenched his fists as his nails bit into his palms and apologized hoarsely, "I'm so sorry, Nicky. I-I didn't mean it."

Nicole couldn't bear to snap at him as she looked at his guilty expression. Still, she took a step back as she panted.

Although she had unplugged the device and thrown it aside, the pungent smell in the room still lingered. The windows and doors of the room were all locked and sealed. Yet, no matter how hard the two tried, they still inhaled quite a considerable amount of the aphrodisiac.

Nonetheless, Nicole was in much better condition than Zachary as she entered the room a little later.
