Nicole was at a loss for words. She felt like she needed some time to cool down, so she gritted her teeth and reasoned, "President Gardner, last night's event is basically a cooperation between us. Also, no one can force you to do anything you don't want, or else you wouldn't have held the effects in when you were drugged. So, I believe that you could have endured through last night if you didn't actually want it."
