Chapter 933 Downfall

"You don't really think Nicole and Colton are only putting on an act, do you, Miss Wrenn?"

A raspy, low female voice rang out when Evelyn was deep in her thoughts.

What? Evelyn froze and immediately wiped off the look on her face. She then turned around to find a woman in casual clothes standing there.

Frowning, she demanded, "Who are you?"

"Miss Wrenn, it doesn't matter who I am. The point is that we have a common enemy," Sasha said with a smile. Since using Zachary didn't work, she decided to try Evelyn this time around. Evelyn Wrenn is a scheming and stupid woman. It will be easy to control her.

Evelyn's gaze was cautious when she scanned Sasha. She had only recently gone through a major event that had instantly made her a much more mature person. She was no longer as naive as she was in the past.

Evelyn smiled. "Common enemy? You must have made a mistake. I have no enemies." She then started to turn around and leave, only to stop in her tracks when Sasha raised her voice the moment.

"Colton and Nicole were alone together for more than ten days. Take a guess. What could they have done during these ten days?"

As expected, hearing about Colton made Evelyn see red. She turned back to Sasha again.

She had some wild guesses, but she did not expect that Colton and Nicole had spent more than ten days together!

"W-What did you say?" she choked. She was completely frozen.

Seeing this, Sasha chuckled and approached Evelyn with a bright smile on her face.

"I have been keeping an eye on them from Colton's house door in the past few days. They were cooped up in a room the whole time. No one was there to disturb them other than the food delivery person who would come every day at certain hours."

Sasha's voice seemed to have the ability to stir others up. Even Evelyn's heart wavered when she heard those words.

"What do you think? What could they have been doing throughout the ten days they were in a room together? If the ceremony is only a show they put on as Nicole says, why would they need to stay together in a room for such a long time?"

A trace of anger slowly rose in Evelyn's eyes as Sasha kept going.

Ten days!

I'm sure they did something throughout the ten days they spent together. They must have done something they shouldn't!

Sasha's smile only widened when she saw Evelyn starting to get angry. It was evident that the person in front of her was someone she could easily manipulate.

"That is all I'm going to say for now. You can contact me when you are going to make your next move, Miss Wrenn. Nicole Anderson is our mutual enemy, remember that," Sasha softly whispered into Evelyn's ear. She then took out a business card and stuffed it into Evelyn's palm.
