Chapter 935 Going Abroad

Zachary was not surprised upon hearing that, and he replied with a smile, "Okay. I'll contact the doctor over there right now."

"Alright." Nicole nodded in response.

As she needed to handle Betty's situation, she decided to leave Hayden at the Gould Residence for now. Siobhan wanted to help after she knew about this, but Nicole kindly declined her offer.

"It's alright. I have contacted someone. I only need to send Ms. Betty over. Thank you for your help, Madam Gould," she stated respectfully.

Siobhan couldn't help feeling guilty when she saw how polite Nicole was being. Clearly, Nicole still thought of her as an outsider.

She only let out a resigned smile without saying anything.

After all, they had only known each other for a mere half a month.

"Are you going abroad?" Siobhan asked.

"Yes. I want to send Ms. Betty over and settle her down. I won't take too long. One week is enough." Nicole lowered her head and uttered, "I will need to trouble you with taking care of Hayden in the meantime."

Considering how complicated Betty's condition was, Nicole wanted to know more about it after handing Betty to the doctor. As such, she knew she was going to be occupied. Hayden might have been obedient since he was a child, but Nicole was worried she would be too busy to take care of him. It would put her at ease to leave the boy in the country under Siobhan's care.

"No problem," Siobhan agreed with a smile. "Hayden is my grandson. I will take good care of him. You should go ahead and focus on Betty."

In no time, Nicole had gone to the medical base and consulted the doctors.

The general idea was that they were not conditioning experts. They could help with Betty's recuperation if Nicole kept Betty here, but they might not be able to produce the best results.

At the same time, Zachary had contacted foreign conditioning specialists and even chartered a private plane.

Betty's memory had improved a lot, but the root cause of her illness that had accumulated over the years had caused her to cough uncontrollably. Even her complexion didn't look too good.

After Nicole briefly told Betty about how she was going to take her abroad to get treated, Betty gave her a hum of acknowledgment in her disoriented state. She took a while to tell Nicole, "I know my body best, Nicole. You don't have to waste your money."

The corners of Nicole's mouth twitched into a wry smile. Madeline had replaced Betty back then, but the latter had always been kind to Nicole. Betty was always the one who secretly took care of Nicole when she was bullied by Lydia back when she lived at the Anderson Residence.

"Ms. Betty, please don't worry about the money. I'm really rich," Nicole softly rebuked. She then reached out to hold Betty's hand in hers.
