"I understand, Mr. Wrenn. Thank you, but with President Gardner here now, there's no need to worry. You should go rest," Nicole uttered. She could tell that Gabriel was exhausted from his droopy eyes and imbalanced stance.

He wasn't surprised by her refusal, as he smiled and said, "Don't worry. Now that you're pregnant, I won't do anything to you. I'm asking you to stay with me for your safety."

Before she could say anything, he continued, "Someone has already targeted Hayden in the Gould Residence. It's hard to guarantee that this person won't come after you too, Nicole. Although we can see that the person who came this time is an outsider, it's hard to say that there isn't an insider in the Gould Residence. Hayden is still in the hospital. If something happens to you, who will take care of him?"

His words instantly silenced her since he made a good point. Now that she was pregnant, if she continued to stay in the Gould Residence, any complications in the later stages of her pregnancy would surely be known to the Goulds. Then, her relationship with Colton would be known to the public.
