Chapter 966 Roger

Colton looked at the surprised expression on Nicole's face and chuckled. "What's so surprising? You already told me about Lome. Do I still need to hide anything from you?"

As Nicole lowered her head, she thought for a moment before saying, "Since this was done by Undercity, I don't want to pretend that I don't know. If she wants to take it this far, she must be prepared to accept the consequences."

After a moment of silence, he asked, "Are you… going to get help from Lome's members?" He had interacted with those people during their previous missions. They were all a group of daredevils. After Julian met them once, he came back and complained to Colton, saying that it would be best if they avoided any contact with them in future missions.

"Yes," she answered with a nod. She couldn't let this threat go unchecked. Hayden was her life, and if she didn't seek help from Lome, she was afraid she wouldn't be able to deal with Undercity.

Colton didn't try to dissuade her either and just glanced at the sky outside with a faint smile. "It's getting late. Rest early." After saying that, he turned and left right away.

When he first met Nicole, he noticed that she was very skilled. At first, he thought she had just trained in some form of martial arts, so he didn't think too much of it. Anyone who trained in Lome, even for just half a year, was probably several times stronger than the average person.


After he left, she leaned against the headboard and took out her phone. She dialed a string of numbers and stared at the familiar digits, lost in thought. It's been a long time since I've contacted them voluntarily. At the thought of her son lying in the hospital, she made up her mind and dialed the number.

The phone rang for about five seconds before a man answered the call.

The man's voice was very rough, and he sounded like an incredibly tough guy. "Hello, Boss! You're actually calling us for once. What a surprise!"

The man said those words roughly with a hint of teasing her.

Although they hadn't seen each other for many years, Nicole immediately recognized the voice. It was Roger Lowe.

"Roger, do you guys have anything on hand now?" she asked.

"Not really. There aren't many jobs right now, and not many of our brothers are out. Why? Are you bringing us business?" he answered with a smile.

Although they were all ruthless and vicious people, Nicole had saved their lives in the past when she was in Lome. They could kill without blinking an eye, but they couldn't betray their benefactor.

"Yeah. How much to go against Undercity?" she asked at once.
