“Don’t worry about it, just eat up,” Pattie replied, undeterred by the curious looks from the rest of the table, her gaze steady on Roland.

Every time he took a bite, another helping appeared on his plate. The more Pattie doted, the stiffer Roland became, and Elvira’s patience finally snapped.
