Chapter 1993

After Zac had made some calls, a new group of tour buses arrived to finally bring them to their destination: Brimmotopia.

Brimmotopia was a famous resort with hotels, various entertainment facilities, and everything else one could ever dream of. Every year during summer break, countless schools from all over the country would come here to host their own summer camps.

Following Zac's instructions, the group made their way into the Crystal Hotel.

As everyone was settling into their respective hotel rooms, there was a knock on Nathan's hotel door.

Opening the door, Nathan was surprised to see Jaeden with an unnerving smile on his face.

"How may I help you?" "Mr. Cross, I'm really grateful that you helped me out on the bus earlier. I came here specifically to express my gratitude," Jaeden explained, rubbing his hands together.

"You were trying to stand up for everyone else, so I just helped serve justice. There's no need to thank me," Nathan responded lightly.

But Jaeden wasn't finished, going on to say, "To thank you, Mr. Cross, I've booked a room at the Nomo Restaurant near the hotel. I was hoping you could join me for dinner."

Nathan felt uneasy rejecting an offer made out of what seemed like pure kindness.

He had nothing else to do, and besides, Jaeden was still the parent of one of Queenie's classmates. And Nathan wished for Queenie to

get along with all of her fellow students.

So, he agreed apprehensively.

Turning to look back at his family, he asked if any of them wanted to join him.

Queenie shook her head. "You go, Papa. All of the kids from the summer camp are going to meet up for dinner and activities, so I can't go."
