After Nathan had gotten Gianna and Kaiser out of the way, the rest of the vampires continued swarming at him.

In an instant, the crowd had surrounded Nathan, and it was hard to tell where he was.

A sharp glint flashed across Antonio's eyes, as he was surprised to see that Nathan had stopped attacking. Did he exhaust his energy when he killed Kaiser and Gianna? Did the other vampires tear him into pieces because he could no longer put up a fight? While Antonio was still deep in thought, a metal blade flashed across the bondslaves of the vampires, severing their bodies into two parts.

Antonio grabbed a leg of the grand piano beside him, lifted it effortlessly, and hurled it at Nathan.
