Nathan raised his hand to form a fist in response to Max's punch.

Bang!

Their fists met with an earth-shattering crash.

Surprisingly, the deck of the warship Nathan was on could not withstand the force. A pit two meters wide appeared under Nathan, and he fell into it.

Meanwhile, Max landed back on the deck steadily. As he looked at the black crater in front of him, he grinned gleefully. "Hah! Is this all the God of War of Eurasia is capable of?"

"Is it?" came Nathan's voice all of a sudden.

The grin on Max's face stiffened.

There was an explosion in the black pit before Nathan abruptly shot out of it. Immediately, he lunged toward Max with a punch.

Bang!

Max skidded backward as if his chest had been struck by a missile.

The soldiers of the Ghost Ship watched with gaping mouths as Max skidded over a dozen meters backward, his feet leaving deep, long furrows in the deck. It took Max a while before he could regain his balance.

Once he recomposed himself, he snapped his head upward to look at Nathan in disbelief.

Nathan had taken his punch head-on and was shoved into the pit. Yet, he had escaped unscathed.
