Sloan smirked. "Uncle Cristiano, you don't understand! A married woman is way more fun than a young girl!"

Cristiano could not help but comment, "Don't forget that you've committed crimes in this country before. Your father spent a fortune to take care of the problem for you and even sent you to study abroad so that you could lie low for a few years. That's how you managed to escape punishment. Now that you're back home, behave yourself, and don't cause any more trouble."

Sloan's lips twitched into a sneer. "What are you afraid of, Uncle Cristiano? Is there anything that the Zarnowski family is unable to keep hush in Channing?"

Then, he glanced around and asked, "Uncle Cristiano, why did you bring these people to pick me up? Why didn't you bring any of the city officials or other big names?"

"If I could bring such a group of men just to pick you up, I would be the mayor of Channing instead of a mere businessman!" Cristiano retorted angrily.

"Oh, fair point!"

Cristiano was annoyed with his nephew. He climbed into his car and said angrily over his shoulder, "Your father asked me to pick you up. If you're unhappy with your welcome party, you can get home by yourself!"
