Keilani looked away and changed the topic. "I've brought you some snacks. I didn't know what you liked, so I got a mix. Here. Have some."

Jennie eagerly opened the bag, discovering crisps, sandwiches, cakes, and more. She bit her index finger and glanced at Keilani with a shy smile. "I like all these snacks. Thank you."

A smile played on Keilani's lips. "Glad to hear that. I'll get you some more later."

Keilani was confident she could quickly build a good relationship with Jennie if this went on. She just had to cater to Jennie's likeness. Initially, she feared Jennie might refuse the snacks and distance herself further.
