By the time we returned to the villa, the sun was already setting. We had been running and hunting in wolf form for the last several hours. Judy's scent had faded long ago, so I knew she had left already. Matt was trailing behind me as we broke through the clearing; being in wolf form, I was able to speak with him through the mindlink.
