Chapter 10 Divorce

“Then I’ll go. Edmond, don’t wear yourself out, and take good care of yourself.”
Rosalie turned around and left.
After Rosalie left, Claudia said, “I want to stay in the ward to take care of your mom.”
Seeing that Claudia was determined, Edmond finally said, “Okay.”
Edmond’s voice was deep. “Thank you.”
“I’d like to take care of her. After all, your mom is nice to me.” Thinking of something, Claudia said, “Rest assured. I won’t tell your mom about the divorce. Remember to go to the courthouse at ten the day after tomorrow.”
Claudia smiled.
Edmond was in deep thought.
Edmond thought, “Did she really want to have a divorce as soon as possible?”
Every time Claudia mentioned the divorce, Edmond’s good mood would be ruined.
Hearing no objection, Claudia just walked into the ward.
She wouldn’t change her mind.
It was better for her to mention the divorce.

Though Cicely didn’t like her, Rosalie still planned to apologize. Even if Cicely still hated her, Rosalie had to pretend to be a kind girl in front of Edmond.
Cicely stared at Rosalie.
Rosalie was nervous.

She was afraid that Cicely drove her away.
To her surprise, Cicely waved her hands at Rosalie and said, “it’s you. Come over.”
Rosalie was stunned.
She felt that Cicely’s attitude was strange, but she still walked over.
Claudia frowned.
Cicely said to Claudia flatly, “You can leave.”
Cicely’s attitude made Rosalie smile.
Rosalie thought, “Cicely must be mad, or she can’t let Claudia leave.”
Rosalie rolled her eyes at Claudia and said, “Don’t you understand? She asked you to leave.”
Chapter 11 The Friedan Family’s Party
Cicely patted Rosalie’s hand and said with a smile, “You and Tristen will be engaged soon. If you need anything, let me know. Don’t hesitate.”
Claudia thought, “Tristen? Tristen Lamont?”
Claudia frowned with confusion. There was something wrong with Cicely’s memory.
Claudia turned around and wanted to ask for a doctor, but she bumped into someone’s chest.
The familiar smell went into Claudia’s nostrils. Claudia suddenly realized who she had bumped into. Claudia pushed him away.
Claudia was strong. Edmond was pushed so hard that he sta ggered.
Edmond made a long face.
At that moment, Cicely spoke out with surprise.
Cicely said, “Tristen, is that you?”
Edmond frowned and thought, “Tristen?”
Claudia said with a low voice, “There is something wrong with Cicely’s memory.”
After saying that, Claudia strode out of the room. When Claudia left, she couldn’t help herself but look back.
Claudia had never seen Cicely put on a hearty smile.

witz. The doctor was done chocking Cicely, the doctor called Claudia and Edmond aside.

Edmond frowned and turned to the doctor.

Edmond looked at Claudia.
The corners of Claudia’s eyes were slightly dropped. There was no emotion on her face.
Rosalie was just fooling herself. If Cicely got her memory back, Rosalie would be the first to be punished.
Rosalie carried on, “Edmond, I want to take care of Cicely myself. I don’t feel comfortable hiring a caregiver.”
Claudia thought of what had happened with Eleanor. Claudia blurted out without thinking, “No way.”
Claudia knew how painful it was to take care of a patient. A spoiled and well-off lady like Rosalie could not take good care of Cicely. And Rosalie had a bad history. What if she did something bad to Cicely?
Claudia would not give Rosalie that chance. Claudia looked at Edmond and said coldly, “I advise you to think it over. Rosalie can’t take care of Cicely.”
“What is that supposed to mean? You wouldn’t still dare to show up in front of Cicely, would you? You’re the last person she wants to see right now. Aren’t you trying to make her feel bad?”
Rosalie said sincerely, but she was afraid that if Claudia took care of Cicely, Cicely would remember everything.
Claudia wanted to say something, but Edmond interrupted. Edmond said, “Get some rest. I will deal with the rest.”
Edmond looked so calm, but his words were cold.
The doctor mentioned that Claudia had been watching over Cicely for a day and night. If Claudia stayed any longer, her body would not take
it.

Claudia stared at the floor. When she came back to her senses, Rosalie and Edmond were gone.
Claudia stood in the corridor of the hospital for a long time until someone tapped her shoulder.
