Hearing this, Rosalie felt relieved.
She was afraid that if Claudia divorced Edmond, she would marry Waldron. But it seemed that Ervin wouldn’t let Claudia marry into the Friedan family.
“Don’t worry, Rosalie. Even though we failed this time, there will be another chance. I believe Rosalie can’t outsmart me,” Gilda said, full of hatred.

Edmond was off today.
Seeing his gloomy face, Claudia immediately came up with a possibility.
“Edmond, you plan to use your body as payment, don’t you?”
Claudia saved Edmond out of basic human kindness, but he sank so low…
Due to Claudia’s terrified expression, Edmond’s suspicion grew deeper.

Claudia immediately realized that the wound on Edmond’s back was from protecting her from the crystal lamp.
Edmond was taken back to the previous hospital, but this time, the
doctor gave strict orders not to let him leave,
“How did you take care of him? The burn hasn’t healed yet, and the wound is getting worse. It’s easy to get infected and will risk his life!”
Claudia bit her lip, letting the doctor criticize her.
She didn’t know why Edmond came out with the injury.
