Chapter 22 Bring Her to Me
Any trace of sympathy Rosalie had felt for him vanished, replaced entirely by joy.
However, Cicely didn’t like what she heard.
“Tristen, you and Rosalie are already engaged, and marriage is a done deal. What do you mean by ‘consider”?”
Rosalie didn’t dare to speak.
She had forgotten that Cicely had mistaken Edmond for Tristen.
Fearing that Edmond would get angry and change his mind, Rosalie affectionately held Cicely’s hand, “Mr. Sandler, Ed… Tristen just had a narrow escape. Let him rest for a while. The wedding can wait.”
