“Edmond, my dad insisted on inviting you to dine with us after he found out about our relationship…” She wrapped her arms around Edmond’s hand intimately.
Edmond pushed her away indifferently, his deep eyes full of coldness. “Rosalie, there’s one thing you need to know.”
A sinking feeling aroused in Rosalie’s heart.
Edmond rarely used this tone. She had an intuition that it had something to do with her father.
Rosalie bit her lower lip. She looked at him with those two dark eyes.
“Edmond, just tell me. We are a family after all. We can be totally frank.”
She said in a low voice, and there were tears in her eyes.
“If I marry you in the future, it is only you that I marry. I don’t want the Clayton family in my life, you know.” Edmond’s fair face was a bit cold, and so was his voice.
Rosalie trembled.
He didn’t want the Clayton family in his life. That meant the Lamont family wouldn’t help the Clayton family.
“And I’ve called the police about what happened today.”
Hearing this, Rosalie looked up with tears falling.
“Edmond, please don’t call the police. After you told me what

happened to Ms. Lloyd, I came to save her immediately. My dad just wants to help me. Can you let him go for me?”

If it was someone else, Rosalie wouldn’t worry at all. But it was Edmond. She was afraid.
The Lamont family was powerful. And once the person who called the police was from the Lamont family, it meant that she could only choose one between her family and Edmond,
The Clayton family was her backup, while Edmond was the one she had loved for so many years.
She didn’t want to lose him.
She wanted everything,
Rosalie thought, “Edmond had just held me out in front of Claudia. Why did he still do this to me?”
Rosalie gritted her teeth and took a chance.
“Edmond, so I mean nothing to you now?
“I know, I’m a burden to you,
“If Tristen was still alive, you wouldn’t have to be in such a quandary.”
Sure enough, Tristen was a name that could soften Edmond.
Rosalie felt both complicated and elated.
Only by mentioning Tristen would Edmond listen to her.
“Edmond, I beg you not to call the police. He’s my father. Could you do that for me?”

The girl also noticed Claudia. She held Claudia’s hand intimately and said, “You’re Waldron’s girlfriend, right?”
The word “girlfriend” drifted into Thomas’ cars who walked over
Thomas’ face sank. “Elva, she’s not Waldron’s girlfriend,”
How could Edmond’s wife be the Friedan family’s daughter-in-law?
Even if they divorced, Thomas wouldn’t let Waldron marry her
Thomas glanced at Claudia impatiently.
Just this glance made him stunned.
No wonder Waldron regarded her as his younger sister, Claudia was too much like Tania.
Of the several children, only Waldron spends a lot of time with Tania. The other children were busy with getting different education and didn’t have the opportunity to meet Tania.
Unfortunately, after Waldron went to high school, Tania got cancer and died a year later.
