Chapter 99 Why Are You Here?
Yvette wanted to go up again, but Claudia stopped her and said, “Yvette.”
“How did you get here?”
When Claudia saw Yvette, a hint of embarrassment appeared on her face. It was a bit embarrassing to be seen by a friend in such a situation, but soon she felt relieved. Claudia was one of her own.
“Coming over here for some business, just happened to pass by. Are you okay?” Claudia approached and stood next to Yvette, casting a cold glance toward Lila.
Lila wore thick pajamas that had faded in color from rolling on the ground. Dust clung to them, and her hair was messy, with some weeds tangled in it. She looked disheveled and fierce.
While she was sizing up Lila, Lila was also sizing her up. Upon seeing Claudia, Lila first froze for a moment, and her gaze quickly shifted from Claudia’s face to the clothes and bags she was wearing.

Are you going to do something about this?” Lila, the troublemaker, complained first, “I remember she used the dowry money to renovate her own house. If she can move the furniture, can’t we also make her move out of that house?”
Lila never left Yvette’s house, as Yvette’s house was in a good school district, which would make it convenient for their children to go to school in the future.
And this old shabby house had nothing.

Yvette’s mother had a small apartment that she knew was bought by Yvette’s mother when she was working in another city to earn money. At that time, it only cost a few thousand dollars, but later it increased.
But that was a small property with a forty-year leasehold.
“Yeah, it was such a good deal for her to have our nice house!” Lila glared at Yvette in anger.
Claudia surveyed their house, which was not large in size, but similar to the house her grandmother had left behind, it had a small courtyard and several trees in the surroundings.
