Chapter 158 Elva’s Panic
All eyes were fixed on this phone, especially Elva, her eyes widened as if she couldn’t believe what she was seeing.
Wasn’t the phone destroyed? Why did she get hold of it?
Watching Claudia fiddle with her phone, Elva’s gaze hardened as she muttered, “Where did you get that phone from? It’s so old and broken, who knows if it’s mom’s.”
However, no one responded to her words.
Claudia had already turned on her phone, and the familiar startup
sound rang out, causing Elva’s heart to s kip a beat, just like a haunting melody.
She covered her chest and took deep breaths.
It was still Derrick who first noticed, and he quickly approached Elva, asking with concern, “Elva, what’s wrong with you?”
Elva shook her head and forcedly said, “I’m fine, just a little hungry, probably a bit hypoglycemic.”
It was exactly noon, and it was time for lunch.
Derrick looked at Claudia and reminded her, “We haven’t eaten yet, let’s discuss whatever it is after we have had our meal.”
As soon as Claudia took out her phone, he knew she was up to something.
No wonder Ervin and Waldron eagerly went to pick up Elva for

dinner, turns out there was something good waiting for her here!
His intuition told him that the things in that phone were not good. He could tell from Elva’s reaction that those things were harmful to her.
No matter what the result was, he hoped that everyone would finish this meal.
Claudia glanced at Derrick and saw the disgust on his face. She smiled and put away her phone, saying, “Alright, let’s eat and chat at the same time.”
She got up and casually took the wine from under Elva: “Just remembered, this bottle of wine has expired, I’ll get another one.”

As soon as Elva sat down at the dining table, she took something out of her pocket. She kept an eye on Elva’s actions out of the corner of her eye, and although Elva moved quickly, she still saw it.
Elva put something inside
As expected, a dog can’t change its habit of eating feces. He is just like Rosalie, both of them constantly thinking about harming others.
Seeing the wine bottle being taken away, Elva’s expression remained unchanged. She bit her lower lip and her gaze never left that phone.
She was completely absorbed in this phone and had no time to think about anything else.
Claudia brought over a bottle of different wine. Although she didn’t like drinking alcohol, she had bought some wine specifically to entertain guests for the past two days.
Claudia never mentioned it again. The few people eating together seemed extremely harmonious, except for Elva, who was absent- minded and couldn’t eat a single bite.
Laverne clearly told her that the phone was thrown into the mountains and couldn’t be found at all. How did Claudia manage to find it?
Claudia held a fork in one hand and gripped her phone with the other, her gaze calm.
Warren spent three days and three nights using a detector to find this phone. The people in Enigma worked overnight and put in extra hours to repair the things inside it. She didn’t want the phone to have any more accidents.
Elva kept getting distracted while holding the fork.
Thomas glanced at her and asked with concern, “Not to your liking?”
Elva glanced at the dishes on the table and nodded without hesitation, “There is nothing I love to eat.”
“Then let’s order takeout.” Thomas indulgently took out his phone and prepared to order takeout.
Seeing him like this, Waldron snorted and said, “You don’t like such delicious food and insist on eating gutter oil, Elva, are you doing it on purpose?”
Elva lowered her head in frustration, and Thomas frowned, about to scold her. However, Claudia spoke up, “This community has strict regulations, and food delivery is not allowed. Since your sister doesn’t like it, let’s just go hungry. I heard you’re on a diet, so ski pping a meal shouldn’t be a big deal.”
Upon hearing these words, Elva’s face immediately turned ugly.
Because she had been lying down and sitting for a long time, her face became more and more swollen. She had indeed been trying to lose weight recently.
But when Claudia exposed her, it was as if she was openly saying that she had gained weight. Elva became furious, her chest heaving and her fingers clenched into fists.
“Since the takeout cannot come in, just wait for a while. Your brothers and I will take you out to eat later,” Thomas said in his usual gentle
tone.
Elva stared at her father with angry eyes and, upon hearing his words, obediently nodded, “Thank you, Dad.”
“What brothers? Ervin and I are going to have afternoon tea at Claudia’s later. Derrick has always doted on her, so you guys can go, don’t involve us,” Waldron crossed his arms and smirked. He glanced at the phone in Claudia’s hand, his face darkening slightly.
There must be something fishy in this phone. He went out to eat, but he wanted to see. When the phone recording is played, he, as her father, will see if he is still in the mood to take her out for a meal.
“Waldron, you weren’t like this before…” Elva couldn’t bear the injustice anymore, tears falling like broken beads, cascading down.
Seeing the atmosphere gradually deteriorating, Ervin coughed and put down his fork. He said to Claudia, “Just open the recording directly.”
Waiting any longer, I didn’t know what these people would turn into.
Upon hearing these words, Elva’s face grew even paler. The very thing she had been trying to avoid was now something she had to confront.
She couldn’t sna tch the phone, and she didn’t dare to sna tch it.
She looked at Thomas as if seeking help and said, “Dad, I’m a little hungry. Let’s go out to eat.”
No matter what is in the recording, Thomas couldn’t be here.
Thomas glanced at Claudia holding her phone, and his intuition told him that there would be something inside.
This was Emily’s phone, and as Thomas thought about Emily still being in a coma, the fortune teller’s words echoed in his ears.
The master said that Claudia defeated them.
Thomas frowned and looked at Elva. Seeing her pleading expression, his heart softened and he said, “Okay.”
