It would be selfish of him to try and get in between that and besides, it'll only be for a couple of days and Hera would be back with him again so for now, he'd have to endure the pain that came with this painful, temporary separation.

"What about your plans to go back to school?" Martha asked out of the blue. "You've always talked about how you would want to go back to college and start something for yourself. How are you going on with that plan? Anything in motion yet?"

Hera flushed a little. "For now, I'm still trying to get accustomed to my job and how the city works but with time, I'd make a plan on that. I'd still need to gather a lot of funds for college and we all know it's not easy."
