Sitting back in Vincent's car, I remain slightly mortified due to how the date had ended...

"What happened, you've went quiet?" Vincent immediately questions me, as he settles himself in to his seat and slams the door, his features slightly worried as my eyes practically fall out of my head in disbelief at him.

"The bill... you paid almost five hundred dollars back there... and then you added an extra hundred for a tip? All just for our little date?!" I breathe out, not knowing that the restaurant he had took me to had been so luxurious and high end. Sure it was beautiful, but not five hundred dollars worth! I would have been happy with a ten dollar pizza and a coke!

Chuckling deeply, he starts the car and flashes me a toothy grin before groaning playfully.

"Is that seriously why you went quiet? You took a look at the bill? I thought something bad had happened!" Vincent continues to laugh at my reaction, as I fold my arms over my chest - slightly annoyed that he had even been stupid enough to pay such a price for a meal.

"It is just so bad, why would you do that?!" I argue back, as he begins to roll the car out of the car park and onto the main road.

Sure it was the best damn meal I had ever had, but rich or not, it was far too much money! It bypassed treating me to something nice... it was completely over the top and uncalled for!
