Chapter 204

“Stay away from Alexander!”

The feminine voice was raw with rage and pain.

She felt her chest growl as she stood over the unconscious man lying shattered at her feet with her eyes burning with fire.

She had no sympathy whatsoever for him. He has brought this on himself.

And then, all of a sudden, BOOM!

A section of the building burst into flames, torn of walls began to fly all over the place. She instinctively dodged, shielding her head with her arms as hot smoke and flame burst through the air around her, her ears ringing from the blast, her lungs stinging from the thick cloud of smoke, but she had little time to think about it.

As the dust dislodged she raised her head. She felt her heart beating against her ribs in fear.

Alexander.

She moved as fast as she could move towards the burning building.

And although one side of the building was completely blown off and open but the fire was too intense for her to risk. The flames roared like a beast and would not let anyone in.

Under her breath she cursed and ran back to the unconscious man. She fell back on he knees and began going through his pockets.

And finally, she found it, a bunch of keys.

Fumbling, she began testing each one against the heavy padlock which was securing the door. Her hands shook and frustration was bubbling up with every failed attempt.

“Come on, come on.” she muttered under her breath.

Then, click.

The padlock snapped open.

As she opened the door, the heavy heat hit her in the face and she stumbled backward with her instincts screaming at her to turn around and just leave.

But there was no way she would leave and leave him there to burn because he wouldn’t have just leave her there too.

She took a few steps in and held in her breath.
