Our days on the island flew by. Snorkeling was a blast, and we went several times. I loved watching all the different-colored fish and other sea life. Learning to surf was fun. Even though I couldn't stand up on the board to save my life, the guys still enjoyed trying to teach me. As our last full day on the island dawned, I was the only one awake at this early hour. We had stayed up late the night before, and I outlasted all the guys who, one by one, disappeared to bed. Smiling, he kissed my lips before setting my coffee on the table beside me. Coming around to the other side of the lounger, he picked me up and sat down with me in his lap. I leaned back against his chest, realizing that it was cooler out here than I had thought, but between the blanket and Patrick, I warmed up quickly. We shared the mug of coffee in silence.

When I sighed, Patrick tilted my head until I looked up at him. "What's wrong, love?" He asked quietly as he ran a finger down my cheek.

"Nothing is wrong...well, not really." I took another sip of coffee while looking out at the ocean, watching the waves break along the shore. "I don't want to leave," I admitted, slightly whiney. I winced but continued explaining my thoughts. I love being here together, but I felt the same way at the lake house and even the guy's house."

"The lake house is ours. We are just waiting for the paperwork to go through, but if you want a home on an island, we can make that happen. I groaned before taking a sip of coffee.
