Yolanda was seething, her eyes blazing with fury as she thought about everything Lizetta had endured. The thought of Remington made her blood boil. What kind of husband was he? What kind of father? "Cassius, let her go."

Remington stood his ground, neither dodging nor budging, his handsome face stern as he signaled Cassius to release his grip.

"Remi..." Cassius frowned, hesitant to actually let her go. Knowing Yolanda's temper and courage, and her tendency to act first and think later, there was a real risk she might lash out.

And if she did manage to land a punch on Remington, it might fulfill some twisted sense of retribution for Remi, but the Dashiell family would never let Yolanda off the hook.

Yet, the intensity in Remington's gaze was too compelling, too commanding.

Buckling under the pressure, Cassius reluctantly let go.

Yolanda's fists were clenched tight, her arm swung in a wide arc towards Remington's face, but it stopped abruptly.

"You think getting beaten up will ease your guilt? You think this will make Liz forgive you? Dream on! I won't be your scapegoat. You'll live with this debt forever. You owe Liz, you owe that child, and you'll owe it for the rest of your life!"

With gritted teeth, Yolanda pulled back her punch, storming past Remington into the hospital room.

"Remi... don't be too hard on yourself. You and Lizetta are still young. There's still a chance for you guys to have kids."

Seeing Remington's complexion turn even paler, Cassius tried to offer some consolation, but it only seemed to deepen Remington's gloom. Remington's mind echoed with Lizetta's words, saying without Daisy, there was no future, no chance for anything between them anymore. His heart clenched tighter, his complexion turning ashen.
