Reece, with a swollen face and bruised nose, stormed out of the private room in search of Cheyenne. He muttered curses under his breath about Kate being “ruthless”. The dance floor had changed since he last saw it. The previous performers had left, replaced by three sexy pole dancers who were receiving thunderous applause.

The bar had never been this lively in its three-year history. People crowded around to watch the show and took out their phones to capture the moment.
