"I forgot to ask what you'd like as a business trip gift," Moira said.

Moira hesitated, initially thinking to decline, but then recalled Barclay mentioning Linden picking out gifts for his girlfriend last time, realizing she had to accept this business trip gift. After a brief pause, she replied, "Mango candies, can I?"

Barclay looked at her, a slight smile playing on his lips. "Are you a big fan of those?"

Moira chuckled nervously. "I just want to taste mango candies from different places." "Alright then."

Moira couldn't help but feel Barclay's tone was oddly gentle and indulgent.

'Oh no, I am starting to fall for it,' she wondered.

That night, Moira dreamt of mango-flavored everything.

The next morning, as the alarm clock buzzed, she opened her eyes, staring at the familiar ceiling, only then realizing it was all a dream.

But it felt so real!

Moira buried her face in her hands and remembered the lingering kiss from her dream, her heart pounding faster with each passing moment.

The alarm on her phone was still blaring beside her. She reached for it, turned it off, and sat on the edge of the bed, yawning.

Barclay was going on a business trip, and as his nominal wife, she naturally had to see him off!
