"It's nothing," she replied, choosing not to pursue the matter. After exchanging pleasantries with the elders, she added, "I need to attend to some matters, so I'll be taking my leave now. I'll visit again when time permits."

Melinda rose from her seat. "I'll walk you out, Freya"

Freya accepted, sensing Melinda likely had something to discuss privately.
