Ellis, already familiar with Lawrence’s reputation, didn’t flinch.

“We’re here to see Kristian Shaw. Is now a good time?”

“Of course. But Kristian’s still in a fragile state, so you’ll have to observe him through the glass. No entering the room,” Lawrence said, his voice calm and matter-of-fact.
