Chapter 1375:

Eileen wasn’t fully familiar with the Meyer Group’s range of projects. The incomplete rehab center was something Jacob had initiated after taking control of the Meyer Group, planning it as a future retreat for himself. Halfway through, Jacob’s father had found out about it and given him a severe scolding, insisting it was a necessary stop to prevent further losses. In truth, though, he had been more concerned about being mocked. After all, the Meyer family had never ventured into construction, much less retirement homes, and the thought of failure in an unfamiliar field had unnerved him.

Eileen knew about this ordeal because Jacob had been scolded badly and later complained to Bryan while they had been drinking together. Phoebe had no idea about this and asked, “Wait, does that place actually exist?”

Without hesitation, Phoebe agreed.
