Winnie’s brows furrowed when she read Harold’s text.

After a brief moment of silence, the woman looked toward Xavier instinctively.

Xavier knew that it was very dangerous inside the chemical plant. He gazed at Winnie for a second before pulling her into his arms.

“It will be all right. We are wearing bulletproof vests. Just stand behind me. I will protect you even if the sky comes crashing down.”

“Twenty minutes is too long,” Xavier replied in a hushed voice. “Our situation here is not looking good. Harold wants us to head into the chemical plant now.
