Angeline merely hoped that this child would get to be whoever they wanted to be.

The atmosphere at the family event was akin to a wildfire that had been ignited. Even the Ares family's mistresses began to flock around Angeline to give her their blessings. No one seemed to have noticed that at this moment, there was a faint scent of fragrant wood wafting through the air.
