The cats had six strong senses. Bellflower could sense Esper coming, and it ran away overnight. It did not know that Polly was possessed and that Lilly was searching for it. It was lingering in the street without purpose. And it could hear the sounds of cars passing by and honking from time to time. This was a rather quiet neighborhood. It was upset as it rested on a fence full of flowers. It did not know why it was running away; it only knew that something dangerous was approaching.
