Chapter 55

“He’s finally cracked,” Grayson declared to me.

The wolf he’d been starving for weeks has finally cracked. Grayson had kept him alive but starved, healthy but ravenous, he finally broke after weeks of a meal just out reach.

The son was the brains, the father was the fury. Grayson would run with information. If this son was greedy he was foolish, and if the father was angry he was distracted.
