“Having a daughter would be just as delightful,” Marcus responded, a mischievous glint in his eyes as they locked with Millie’s.

That playful smile on his regal features sent a whirl of dizziness through Millie.

His towering presence eclipsed her, blocking out the sunlight. Steeling herself, she murmured with feigned discontent, “Who said I’d bear any children for you?”
