“Understood.” As Shera retreated, Trenton re-entered the chamber, clutching a bag of revelations.

Trenton affirmed, “Indeed. It was Shera who orchestrated the incident involving Mrs. Thomas at the airport.”

Upon these words, a vice-like grip seized the pen within Marcus’ hand, as if the weight of revelation threatened to shatter the fragile construct of his world.
