Bailey then hung up and gave Veikko a call.
“Veikko, listen. Micah may have found your whereabouts. I'm going to head to Springwyn right away. Do not act recklessly, and make sure Shannon doesn't notice anything wrong. Do you understand?”

After putting down her phone, Bailey got up from the bed in a hurry and dressed without much thought. Then she got her phone and car keys and headed out.
She tried to call Artemis, but his phone had been turned off.
Upon giving it a thought, she phoned Zayron and told him about the situation so he could pass the message on to Artemis.
“Okay, I got it. Take care and come home early, Bailey.”
When Artemis found out that Bailey was leaving Hallsbay, her private jet had already flown out of the country.
He thought of going after her, but a text message from Bailey arrived at that moment.

Artemis couldn't help but snort after he finished reading the text.
